Stimuleringsregeling Eigentijdse Dans
For whom is this subsidy intended?
The Stimuleringsregeling Eigentijdse Dans (SED) is intended for dance freelancers, such as choreographers and dancers, with a demonstrable relationship with the city.
You can therefore apply if your professional practice is based within the municipality of Amsterdam, or if you live within the municipality of Amsterdam. Rental spaces must also be in the municipality of Amsterdam. Weesp is also part of the municipality of Amsterdam.
To determine whether you have a professional practice, the AFK uses a 'beroepsmatigheidstoets' (professionalism test). This professional aptitude test is carried out by the AFK and is valid for four years after it is issued. You fill in the questions for the beroepsmatigheidstoets together with your application.
